Shinkyokushin symbol is an official logo of the largest sports organization dedicated to Kyokushin karate style. Today, Shinkyokushin has more than 80,000 of members from 80 countries. Thanks to the efforts of this organization, karate was first included in the list of Olympic sports and will be presented at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Shinkyokushin necklace originates from “Kokoro” hieroglyph that means “mind” or “heart”. It’s comprised of 3 elements inside a red circle. The first one is crescent-shaped and stands for the body, the middle one means technique, and the last and the smallest one represents willpower. When put together, this sign makes up the basic core that is required to master Kyokushin style.
