Process symbol is an emblem of an underground art community, founded by musicians Genesis P-Orridge and Nivek Ogre. They were members of bands Psychic TV and Skinny Puppy, respectively. The community took its name, doctrines, and symbolics from the Process Church of the Final Judgement. The Process necklace looks like a simplified sign of the church in the form of 4 interloping P’s. Under this logo, members of the community used a promising and fast-growing platform – the Internet – to share art with other artists from all over the world. The new Process stepped away from religious practices and emphasized on self-knowledge, psychology, magic, mysticism, and various occult techniques.
