Kyokushin symbol refers to a Karate style, founded by Masutatsu Oyama in the 1960s. Because of its tough nature and difficulty in learning, Kyokushin is also sometimes called “superkarate” or “royal karate”. This style is characterized by frequent body hits and low kicks since it prohibits direct punches to the head and neck. Kyokushin necklace is comprised of three Kanji hieroglyphs: Kyoku (meaning “absolute”, “ultimate”), Shin (“reality”, “inner truth”), and Kai (“meeting”, “society”). Together the sign makes up a “society of people who search for an ultimate truth”. Which is very suitable, as Kyokushin involves not only physical, but also the spiritual growth of a person.
