Double Cross symbol (Cross of Lorraine, Two-barred Cross) contains one vertical bar and two horizontal lines of equal width and length. In this type of symbol the horizontal ones may also be of different lengths, and this variant has a symmetrical look with the bars of the same width. The two-bar cross appeared in heraldic emblems in the 2nd century A.D. It was used in shields of Hungarian, Slovakian, German and Polish coats of arms and on coins, too.
